The EDUREFORM project coordinated by Chitkara University has been working very hard in the past months to complete their online e-course. The project’s MOOC ‘Become an EDUREFORM Educator in 30 hours’ was officially launched on Monday 20th of February. The event counted with the expertise and words of Dr Sangeeta Pant, coordinator of EDUREFORM and Dean of Chitkara College of Education, who opened the event by addressing the audience on the trajectory and achievements of the project. Dr Pant was joined by two international experts from the EDUREFORM project that enriched the event with their knowledge on technology and open education: Dr Letizia Cinganotto and Dr Vaibhav Jadhav.
The MOOC ‘Become an EDUREFORM Educator in 30 hours’ will equip pre-service, in-service teachers and educators with innovative pedagogical tools to develop an inquiring mindset among students. The 21st century does not only require students to be tech savvy, beyond that, students ought to understand the complexities of our societies, identify the issues and come up with creative solutions to overcome the main obstacles our world is facing. The very good news is that the e-course is free of cost and self-paced for any passionate educator across the globe!
