International Conference Re-thinking Education in the Age of AI

The main goal of the conference is to debate the socio-economic impacts of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), assessing how international cooperation and education can support the readaptation of society to technological developments. As observed during the previous industrial revolutions, technological developments are likely to revolutionize the skills demanded by the labour market. Workers will be asked to perform tasks requiring analytical, creative and critical skills, while the routinary work will be assigned to devices governed by artificial intelligence.
The conference will provide a platform to dignitaries from diverse Asian and European countries, who will gather to share their thoughts and research findings, along with fruitful interactions with the audience on how education can be reshaped to match technological innovations. On Day 2, the Poster Competition will give an opportunity to our future masterminds- the students, to showcase their visions for the future of education and receive unique awards! The gathering will also be the occasion to officially launch the Indian-European Alliance for Education and to present the special issue of the Scopus-indexed Journal of e-Learning and Knowledge Society dedicated to education and the fourth industrial revolution.
The International Conference is being organized in the framework of the EDUREFORM project co-financed by the Erasmus Plus programme of the European Union, coordinated by Chitkara University in cooperation with The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (India), The Savitribai Phule Pune University (India), Shivaji University (India), University of Latvia (Latvia), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland), IUL University (Italy), University of Hamburg (Germany), Chitkara International School (India), Liceo Candiani-Bausch School (Italy), and CXS Solutions (India)
