Production Process Analysis [PPA]

Production process analysis tool will help to develop critical, creative and analytical thinking. It is used to examine the complete life cycle of a product or service and whether it fulfils the needs. In a world where we are constantly consuming products, goods, services, and information it is important that the new generation have the right tools and knowledge to make conscious and well-founded decisions. The students can use the tool to examine a product during the entire production process, analyze in terms of its social, economic and environmental compatibility, give creative outputs, critically analyze the impact of the product and provide recommendations on how to make the product better in future. This can be done with help a matrix (included) which helps in assessing the different components of the desired product or process and guides the students throughout the assessment process by allocating a score to each component.
